Lily holds an MSc in chem­istry, and later grad­u­ated from the Engi­neer­ing Entre­pre­neur­ship and Inno­va­tion pro­gram at McMas­ter Uni­ver­sity, where she worked on three projects geared for star­tups. Inspired by this reward­ing entre­pre­neur­ship expe­ri­ence, Lily joined Set­tle­ment and Inte­gra­tion Ser­vices Orga­ni­za­tion as a busi­ness advi­sor, help­ing entre­pre­neurs new to Canada estab­lish their busi­nesses. Later, Lily brought her entre­pre­neur expe­ri­ence to MaRS Dis­cov­ery Dis­trict as the Man­ager of Edu­ca­tional Pro­grams, devel­op­ing, mar­ket­ing and deliv­er­ing the Entrepreneur’s Toolkit work­shops at MaRS and across the Ontario Net­work of Excel­lence. As an entre­pre­neur, Lily is expe­ri­enced in build­ing new prod­uct or ser­vice in fill­ing the mar­ket gaps. Together with her busi­ness part­ner in China, Lily has estab­lished AerieScope Energy and Envi­ron­ment Tech Inc. to bridge tech­nolo­gies with investors and key mar­ket play­ers in China.

 

 

Ji An started his career from engi­neer­ing in Elec­tric Power Min­istry of China. In ten year’s time, along with the ref­or­ma­tion of Chi­nese energy indus­try, Ji An became direc­tor & Chief Engi­neer of Nan­jing Elec­tric Power Automa­tion Equip­ment Fac­tory (NAEF), a spin-out national cor­po­ra­tion from Power Min­istry of China. From 2001 to 2007, Ji An worked as the Gen­eral Man­ager in SAC-China, China Hua­dian Cor­po­ra­tion which is the sec­ond largest national cor­po­ra­tion in energy field in China. Before com­ing to Canada, Ji An was the Vice Pres­i­dent of China Hua­Dian Engi­neer­ing Co, Ltd., which is the R&D com­pany of China Hua­dian Cor­po­ra­tion. Besides these, Ji An is also mem­ber of IEEE, senior mem­ber of Chi­nese Soci­ety of Elec­tri­cal Engi­neer (CSEE), Vice Chair­man of Relay­ing Pro­tec­tion Divi­sion, senior mem­ber of China Stan­dard Com­mis­sion (CSC) and Vice Chair­man of Elec­tric Power Indus­try Division.
